As of August 2020, Modal allows customers to skip the 'Approval Info' portion in Checkout and place a 'non credit' order. The customer's credit will not be pulled but your dealership will still be sent an Order to your DealerTrack or RouteOne account and CRM email address on file.
By default, this setting is not enabled. If you would like to enable this setting contact firstname.lastname@example.org and ask to allow non credit orders or your Modal Customer Success Manager.
In Checkout, a new 'Skip This' button will appear at the bottom of the 'Approval Info' section where a customer would fill out the necessary information needed for a credit application. By selecting the 'Skip This' button, the user will bypass the Instant Approval 60 second timer (if enabled) and their credit application will not be submitted to lenders. Instead customers will be shown the 'Order Review' screen where they are able to place a non credit order.
If a customer has placed a non credit order, then on your dealership's Order tab in Dashboard, you will see the following tracking step.
Any information the customer entered before skipping the credit application will still be available in the Credit app dropdown section.
