Overview
After a customer has completed Modal Checkout and placed an order they will be taken to a 'Congratulations' screen. In this window, the customer has the option to add images of their driver's license, proof of insurance, or schedule a time to pickup their new purchase. All three of these options will expedite the transaction process for both the dealer and buyer. If a customer exits the 'Congratulations' page, they can still return to upload information.
Returning to Checkout
There are a few ways that a customer can return to the end of Checkout to upload their documents. The first way is by navigating to the order confirmation email that will be sent to the buyer. Within this email are two buttons asking the customer to upload their drivers license and proof of insurance.
Clicking one of the buttons will return the customer to the Checkout 'Congratulations' screen so that they can add their information.
The other way a buyer can return to Checkout is by working with your dealership. When a user places an order, it will appear in your dealership's Modal Dashboard account. By navigating to the user's order, and then clicking on the the email or text icon on the left side, you will be presented with a shareable link.
The link will return a customer back to the end of Checkout so that they can finalize their order information. Please be aware that these links will expire after approximately 10 days.
