Overview
Modal Checkout is divided up into four main categories: Upgrades, Trade in, Payment, and Review. Your current Checkout step is tracked in the the navigation header seen below:
Based on this image, the customer would be on the Payment step since it is highlighted.
Moving Backwards
Once a Modal Checkout step has been completed, a user is still able to to come back to it later and make adjustments. For example, if the customer is currently on the Payment stage, but wants to add a few more F&I products, the user will just have to click on 'Upgrades' in the navigation header. This will return the user to the Upgrades section. All configuration made in the Trade in and Payment sections will still be saved.
A customer can also use the navigation header to return to the beginning of their current stage. For example, a customer is filling out a credit application in the Payment stage, but may decide they want to lower their down payment. Clicking on 'Payment' will return the user to the beginning of their current stage while still saving their progress in the credit application.
